The stage performance of Maylin and the Mad Machine, does not go unnoticed visually as well as far as the compositions are concerned : The band was one of the crushes of Blues magazine after their concert at the Gartempe Blues Festival in the summer of 2018

As a matter of fact, what is striking about Maylin is her very unique style. She calls it “Tribal Blues-

Rock”: a mix of traditional American music and the diverse cultures she has been around (among

which, the one that was passed on to her by her ancestors from Madagascar).
